The Ripley Road

to London & Cambridge

A Rural Ramble through Farm, Fen, Field & Fell

Sunday, October 2, 2016, 10 forenoon

Lake Mills, Wisconsin

A Bicycling Backwards vintage British cycle day run of 35 miles.

This ride aims to answer the question propounded throughout the ages: What good is a cycle jaunt without a mouthful of custard and a potful of tea?

With us, feeding the "inner man" and woman is not an afterthought but a primary purpose, a duty, our highest calling. And so we'll stop for Elevenses or luncheonat the CamRock Cafe.

We'll also have opportunity to swing by the Tyranena Brewery tap room for a pint. Or two.

Click on the logo for more info on the Brewery.

Later, back at the Lake Mills Trail Head, it'll be time to pull out that old Primus stove, brew up a nice hot cup o' tea, and sample the fare offered by your fellow wayfarers.
